Terms of Service

Welcome to Global English Live ("Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Global English Live. By accessing our website or purchasing our coaching packages, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

We provide 1-on-1 live English coaching via TikTok Live. After purchase, you receive a unique redemption code that you present during a live session to connect with a coach. Package details (number of sessions, duration, validity) are as stated on the purchase page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or have parental/guardian consent) to use our Service. You represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Payments & Fees

• Processing: All payments are securely processed by PayPal. By completing a purchase, you authorize PayPal to charge your chosen payment method.
• Pricing: Prices are displayed in USD and may not include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect already confirmed orders.
• Right to Refuse: We may refuse service to anyone for any reason (e.g., suspected fraud or violation of these Terms).

4. Redemption Code & Use

• Immediately after successful payment, you will receive your unique redemption code by email.
• The code is your exclusive access key. Keep it confidential. You may not transfer, sell, or share it.
• Each code can only be used once within its validity period. Expired codes will not be honored.
• You must have a TikTok account and be able to join the designated live stream to use the service.

5. Refund Policy

• Digital Nature: Because our service is delivered instantly, we generally do not offer refunds.
• Exceptions: If a technical error prevents you from using a purchased session, please contact us within 7 days of purchase. We will review the issue and may offer a refund or replacement at our discretion.
• Disputes: You may have additional rights under your local consumer law. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns.

6. User Conduct

When using our Service, you agree NOT to:

• Post or transmit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Disrupt the live sessions or interfere with other participants or the coach.
• Use the service for any commercial purpose other than your personal learning.
• Record, reproduce, or distribute any part of the live coaching without our written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and during coaching sessions (excluding your own speech) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or commercially exploit it without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GLOBAL ENGLISH LIVE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
